Track sales with Pipelines

Create pipelines, add deals, move them through stages and see your sales report.

A pipeline shows your sales as cards moving through stages, from a new enquiry to a won sale. Each card is a deal: one possible sale, with a value and a customer.

Create a pipeline

  1. Go to Pipelines and click Create Pipeline (or Add Pipeline).
  2. Name it, for example "Retail sales" or "Corporate projects".
  3. Click Create Pipeline. Default stages from New Lead to Won are added for you.

To rename stages, add new ones, change colours or drag them into a different order, click Manage Pipelines.

Add a deal

Click Add Deal, or the + at the top of a stage, and fill in:

  • Title, for example "50 units office chairs".
  • Contact and, if you like, Link to Conversation.
  • Value and Currency.
  • Expected Close Date, Stage, Assigned To and Notes.

You can also add a deal from a chat: open the contact panel in the Inbox and click Add deal. Automations can create deals for you too, for example when a customer asks about prices.

Move deals

  • On a computer, drag a card to another stage. Click Undo if you dropped it in the wrong place.
  • On a phone or tablet, press and hold the card, then drag. Or open the deal and use Move to stage.

When a sale is done, open the deal and click Mark as Won or Mark as Lost. Use Reopen deal if that changes.

Find deals

Use the search box and filters for Owner, Source (which channel the customer came from), Value, Period and Status. Switch the board between Compact, Comfortable and Table views.

Click a card to open Deal details. From there, click Open chat to jump to the customer's conversation.
