Connect step by step

  1. Open WhatsApp settings. Go to Settings → Channels, find WhatsApp and click Connect.
  2. Click Connect WhatsApp Business. A window opens with the two options. Select one and click Continue with Facebook.
  3. Log in to Facebook. Use the account that manages your business portfolio, then pick the portfolio and WhatsApp Business account to use. If you don't have one, Facebook helps you create it.
  4. Add your number. For the Business App option, follow the steps on screen and scan the QR code with the WhatsApp Business App on your phone. For a Cloud API number, enter the number and the 6-digit code sent to it.
  5. Finish. The window closes and your number appears in NexusBot with the status Connected.

Check it's working

Send a WhatsApp message to your business number from a different phone. It should appear in the Inbox within a few seconds. Reply from NexusBot and check it arrives.

Manage a connected number

On the WhatsApp settings page, each number has these options:

  • Disconnect pauses the number. Messages aren't received or sent until you Reconnect. Your settings are kept.
  • Remove deletes the connection from NexusBot.
  • Verify with Meta checks that Meta is still sending your messages to NexusBot. Use it if messages stop arriving.
