Your profile, password and appearance
Update your name and photo, change your password, sign out everywhere, and set dark or light mode.
Your profile
Go to Settings → Your profile.
- Upload photo: PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 2 MB. Teammates see it in chats and the sidebar.
- Display name: how your name appears to your team.
- Email: if you change it, confirm the change from both your old and new inbox.
Click Save changes.
Password
Go to Settings → Login & security. Enter your Current password, then the New password twice, and click Update password.
Forgot it? Sign out, then click Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
Sign out of all devices
Lost a phone or laptop, or shared your password? In Login & security, click Sign out of all devices. Every device, including this one, has to sign in again.
Appearance
Go to Settings → Appearance to switch between light and dark mode and pick an accent colour. This is saved on each device.
Notification sound
Go to Settings → Notifications and turn Message sound on or off. This is also saved on each device.
